Design that begins by taking a building apart
The first cohort's selected project under ASIBA PROGRAM. Relink is a design and implementation studio specializing in the reuse of building materials. The team investigates and collects materials left in buildings before demolition, designing, as a single unified process, how those materials connect to their next space or user. Handling everything from research and design to furniture-making, distribution, and system design as a one-stop process, Relink has built a substantial track record of co-creation with a range of companies and local governments, including Takenaka Corporation, Itabashi City, and AGC. Under the vision of “connecting things to the next society,” Relink is building a new industrial model for circular architecture.
